Delete my account

From the app (recommended)

1. Open SentinElles → profile icon → Paramètres (Settings).
2. Under "Actions irréversibles", tap "Supprimer mon compte" (Delete my account).
3. Confirm the deletion.

Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or access to your phone, write to privacy@sentinellesapp.fr stating the account's phone number. We verify that the number is really yours before erasing (the account is phone-based — it is the only way to make sure the request comes from you). Answer within 30 days at most, usually a few days.

What gets erased

• Your phone number and your account.
• Your sessions, reports, "I'm here" presences, messages, mood notes.
• The result of your identity verification, at SentinElles and at our processor Didit (timestamped erasure). As a reminder, no image of your ID document or selfie is ever retained by SentinElles.
• The key linking your pseudonymized usage data to your account is destroyed at deletion time: what remains becomes permanently anonymous and unrecoverable — nobody, not even the team, can link it back to you.

What is kept

• Aggregated statistics (e.g. "N reports in an area of roughly 150 m"), which cannot identify you.
• A pseudonymous deletion marker, containing no personal data (derived from an already-irreversible hash), kept for 12 months then purged. Its only purpose is moderating abusive delete-and-re-signup cycles; it never blocks a re-signup.
• If the account was closed by the team for breaching the Terms of Use: the number can remain blocked from signing up again.
