From the app
Profile icon → Paramètres (Settings) → "Refuser les statistiques" (Opt out of statistics): your future usage no longer feeds the anonymous statistics. Already-collected data stays pseudonymized — no direct information links it to you, and the key that could is destroyed if you delete your account.
What is deleted automatically
- Messages (zone discussions and direct messages): deleted 48 hours after sending.
- "I'm here" presence: deleted within 24 hours — and limited by design (approximate position, per-session pseudonym).
- Reports: the map is ephemeral — a report disappears when its lifetime expires.
- Identity verification of an inactive account: after 12 months without use, the verification session is erased at our processor Didit. Your account itself remains.

"Télécharger mes données" (Download my data): the app hands you a full copy in JSON format (GDPR
Art. 15 and 20) that you share or save wherever you want. Technically it is produced by
our API's authenticated GET /auth/my-data endpoint — only you, signed in,
can request it.
For any other request
Targeted erasure of a specific piece of data, or an export if you no longer have access to the app: write to privacy@sentinellesapp.fr stating the account's phone number. We verify the number is really yours before acting. Answer within 30 days at most.
